Chloe memulai aktingnya umur 5 tahun. ayahnya seorang dokter bedah plastik dan ibunya seorang perawat. mempunyai 4 orang kakak laki-laki bernamaTrevor,Ethan,Brandon,dan Colin Moretz. Chloe suka Ballet dan Basket dia juga suka bermain dengan anjingnya dan berenang. Lagu kesukaannya "You're beautiful" by James Blunt. Film kesukaannya "Legally Blonde" . Chloe suka pelajaan matematika. Makanan kesukaannya Pasta dan Susshi. dia akan senang jika bisa bermain film bersama Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Naomi watts, Denzel Washington, dan jhonny depp. Trevor Duke Moretz adalah pelatih aktingnya sekaligus kakak laki-lakinya.(trevor 11 thn lebih tua dari chloe). Akting dia di mulai ketika keluarganya pindah ke Los Angeles tahun 2003. Chloe mulai terkenal smenjak dia beramain menjadi Hit Girl di film Kick ass
